The new features and ease of use of the 3M Secure Click™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator HF-800 Series can be summed up by four components. If you can hear it, check it, feel it, and say it, you can use it.

Hear It

The exclusive 3M Secure Click connection helps provide confidence that filters/cartridges are installed properly.

·         It’s a quick, simple connection. Simply align the connections on the facepiece and cartridge and/or filter and push until you hear a click.

·     Hearing the click gives the user the peace of mind that the cartridges are securely in place.

Check It

Help increase worker confidence that the respirator is being worn properly with the easy, one-touch user seal check.

·         Push button seal check provides improved confidence in respirator fit.

·         Push button seal check provides increased worker confidence that the respirator is being worn properly.

Feel It

Experience the greater breathability and comfort provided by the world’s first quad-flow cartridge system.

·         Two dual-flow Secure Click cartridges on each respirator combine to create four airflow paths for easier breathing.

·         3M Secure Click Gas & Vapor Cartridges are on average approximately 35% easier to breathe through when compared with 3M bayonet models.

·         3M Secure Click Filters are on average approximately 10 – 50% easier to breathe through when compared with 3M 2000 Series bayonet models.

Say It

The speaking diaphragm is designed to help provide easier communication while working.

Do 3M Secure Click Half Facepiece Reusable Respirators HF-800 Series offer any other important features?

·         The head cradle features easy-adjust buckles. Simply pull the traps to tighten or squeeze the buckles to loosen.

·         Swept back filter and cartridge design allows for better compatibility with certain welding and grinding shields.

·         Silicone flex-joint faceseal provides a softer feel for the wearer’s face.

How do I perform a seal check on my 3M Secure ClickHalf Facepiece Reusable Respirator HF-800 Series?

When using the 3M Secure Click Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator HF-800 Series, it is important to make sure that the respirator is properly sealed to the face. The intuitive features of the Secure Click™ technology make it easy to ensure worker safety.

How to perform a seal check for the 3M™ Secure Click™ HF-800 Series Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator

·         Positive Pressure Seal Check: Cover the opening of the exhalation valve cover with your hand and exhale gently. If the facepiece bulges slightly and no air leaks are detected between your face and facepiece, a proper seal has been obtained.

·         Negative Pressure Seal Check: Lightly press the seal check button until you feel resistance. Hold the button in this position and inhale gently. If you feel the facepiece collapse slightly and pull closer to your face with no leaks between the face and facepiece, a proper seal has been obtained.

·         If face seal air leakage is detected, reposition the respirator on your face and/or readjust tension of the straps to eliminate air leakage. Repeat the user seal check until a proper seal is obtained.
